Trip-Line Radio Alert – Wireless Perimeter Alarm
A tripline-activated alarm system with transmitting and receiving FRS radios, batteries, tripline, and mounting hardware.
Trip-Line Radio Alert sends an audible warning to a receiving FRS radio when its tripline is activated. The system includes both radios, batteries, line, and mounting components, creating a remote-alert setup rather than a device that must be heard at the tripline itself. The transmitter is housed in an O-ring-sealed, weather-resistant case.
Remote radio notification
Activation produces an audible alert at the receiver. The stated range is approximately one mile in ideal conditions, with terrain, obstructions, and interference affecting actual coverage.
Low standby demand at transmitter
The modified transmitter draws no operating current until activation. Battery self-discharge and receiver use still affect how long the complete system remains ready.
Weather-resistant enclosure
The transmitter case measures 6.7 by 4.5 by 1.7 inches and uses an O-ring seal for weather resistance rather than a stated submersion rating.
Complete core equipment
Both FRS radios, six batteries, USB charging cord, trip plug, 75 feet of tripline, and mounting hardware are included.
