Zip Fire packages a ferrocerium rod, waxed-jute tinder, and a striker inside a compact zipper-pull housing. The slide-out compartment keeps the components together in an accessory that can attach to a pack or jacket. The textured matte-black body measures 2.75 inches long excluding its attachment cord.
