Infrared Perimeter Protector – Tripline Alarm
A tripline-activated infrared signal device for monitored perimeter alerts using compatible night-vision equipment.
The Infrared Perimeter Protector converts tripline activation into a pulsed infrared signal. Its 940 nm output is invisible to the unaided eye and is intended to be observed with compatible night-vision equipment or a suitable low-light camera. The pulse pattern helps distinguish the alert from steady background lighting.
Pulsed 940 nm signal
The infrared emitter provides a recognizable pulsed alert rather than a visible light or a conventional audible alarm.
Long-distance observation
The stated observation distance is up to one mile with Generation 3 night-vision equipment under suitable conditions. Viewing equipment, obstructions, and conditions determine practical range.
Weather-resistant housing
The 5-by-1.9-inch unit is designed for outdoor exposure with weather resistance. It should not be treated as a submersible device.
Installation supplies included
A camouflage sleeve, mounting hardware, and 75 feet of tripline are supplied along with the required 9-volt battery.
