Inspired by the compact escape compasses carried by Allied airmen and commandos during World War II, the Escape & Evasion Compass Button provides basic directional guidance in an exceptionally discreet form. Its ordinary button-style appearance allows it to blend naturally with clothing, outdoor gear, emergency kits, and survival equipment.
The Compass Button looks and functions like a standard four-hole clothing button, helping it remain unobtrusive until needed. It may be sewn onto a garment in place of an existing button or attached as a spare emergency button.

Concealed Titanium Gimbal Pin
The included titanium gimbal pin is stored in the bottom edge of the button and is used to suspend the compass so it can rotate freely when taking a reading.
Simple to Use
Remove the button, pull out the gimbal pin, hold the pin upright, and place the button’s flat underside onto it using the concealed center mounting hole. After the button settles, the small dimple on the top surface indicates approximate magnetic north.
Lightweight and Compact
Its compact size and extremely light weight make it easy to sew onto clothing, add to outdoor gear, store in an emergency kit, or carry as a spare without noticeable weight or bulk.
