A compact magnesium-and-ferrocerium fire-starting rod supplied with a ceramic striker/scraper and protective case.
Stick of Fire combines magnesium and ferrocerium in one compact rod. The silver magnesium portion supplies shavings for tinder, while the gray ferrocerium portion produces sparks when used with the included ceramic striker. This two-material arrangement keeps complementary fire-starting functions together in a 3-inch tool.
